“Davido Didn’t Kill Tagbo, Tequila Did!”- Tagbo’s Family Friend Claims

One of Tagbo’s friends who was at his birthday party alongside Davido and his crew members has dispelled accusations from Caroline Danjuma that Davido killed her brother.

The young man, who goes by the name, Damilola Usman told journalists that Davido had no hand in Tagbo’s death and buttressed the fact that Davido was not around at all when Tagbo slumped. Damilola claimed they engaged in a drinking competition as it was Tagbo and another of their friend’s birthday in order for them to spice up their celebrations.

He claimed Tagbo drank ten shots of Tequila and switched off afterwards with none of them paying any attention to him as they were all “high” at that moment, according to him. Damilola, who informed he’s with Tagbo’s family said they are yet to offer any official statement as investigations are still ongoing to get to the root of Tagbo’s death.

Davido’s crew had come out to debunk and deny all of Caroline Danjuma’s accusations citing the absence of Davido when the incident happened as a veritable fact that exonerates the star musician from any claims of murder or whatsoever. Just some few days ago, Caroline Danjuma in an interview was asked what the next step is on the matter and she claimed their family are yet to decide and it will be bad to comment when the family is yet to decide on what to do.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police invited both Davido and Danjuma to his office in a bid to find an end to their social media clashes on Tagbo’s death and to listen to them in order for the Lagos State Police Command to have the verifiable information they could work with.

In order to corroborate their insistence on Davido’s innocence, some of his friends released a video of their drinking session in the Shisha Room as investigations continue as to the cause of Tagbo’s untimely death.
