Wife of Lagos State Governor, Bolanle Ambode Attends Commissioning of Health Projects By Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials

It was all gleeful at the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital as the wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode graced the commissioning of health projects for hospitals sponsored by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials.

The first lady of the state, flanked by Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide was in her ever delightful mood as she took rounds of pictures while commissioning the projects.

The projects included the provision of ultrasound machines and other machines that will be of benefit to making mothers go through child birth in a fairly easier manner. In one of the pictures, everyone in the room Donne’s surgical caps including the boisterous wife of the Lagos State Governor.

Present at the commissioning project were the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Primary Health Care, Dr. Femi Onanuga, a member of the COWLSO Project Team, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, Medical Director, Island Maternity, Dr. Ademuyiwa Eniayewun, Chairman, House Committee on Health of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Segun Olulade.

Also present was the Chairman of the Health Service Commission, Dr. Bayo Aderiye. The Lagos State government has not hidden its support for matters pertaining to the improvement of health care in the state as it keeps making giant strides both as a government entity, with support from various associations and groups or from corporate investors.
